Home Inspections
Back in April of 2015, I had been watching a great series called Holmes Inspection. I believe this was on Netflix at the time. This really got me thinking about the potential of home ownership and the pitfalls of not finding and having a “Proper” home inspection done. From the get-go, if at all possible you want to be onsite during the inspection. This way you can ask questions about potential problem areas and point out areas you think might be of concern so that the Inspector does not miss everything. Obviously you may want to have an open conversation prior with the Inspector that you wish to be included and that you want to be able to assist in pointing out what you see. This way you can be sure they are willing to have you along and understand that you are not trying to do their job, but as a concerned buyer you want to know all you can about your potential purchase. If they are unwilling to work alongside you, then you should find a different Inspector.
